Hey all! It’s been awhile since I checked in. I could give all sorts of excuses as to why I haven’t been writing blogs, but they’d be just that. Excuses. So things have been busy, but now I’m getting back into the swing of things.
Rather, I have a better idea of how things will swing. I’ll be able to anticipate super busy times better now, hopefully. Maybe. If that makes any sense.
Anyway, today’s post has been a long time coming, I think. I’ve been thinking on what it means to be a self-employed creative a lot lately and how hard it can be. I know that this kind of sounds like “WAAAAH WOE IS ME I DON’T HAVE MONEY BECAUSE I CREATE ART” – but its not really that so much as the stigma associated with it, I guess.
Hey all! Things are going pretty well here. Christmas is rapidly approaching, I’ve got a few things to do that will be taking precedence over writing (I have to make people some things. It’s important!) Though I’ll keep working on my various projects. I’m currently working on a side project that, well, I usually don’t write this kind of thing and that’s all I’m going to say on it!
Anyway. This is another of my favorite series of blog posts. I used to be against doing posts that had ‘part 1’ and ‘part 2’ and so on and so forth. I’ve changed my mind. They’re fun because it lets me chronicle what I was struggling with during certain years.
Also, it’s been two years and some change since I did the last of these posts.
Hey all! It’s been a bit since I did a post in this series. I will continue to love this series forever and ever because it 1.) allows me to vent some of my frustrations with writing and 2.) hopefully help others avoid some of the annoying parts of writing. Also, sometimes they help me get through the issues, so hooray!
I’m just glad that I’m returning to this series sooner than the last time I ignored it for a bit, haha. Sometimes I repeat things, but that happens. There’s been a lot of these posts now! (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, and Part 6)
